Filers that have made arrangements to use a credit card to make payments when e-filing have two options for payment. You may pay at the time of filing (option one) or you may file several pleadings and pay once when you have completed filing for the day (option two).
WARNING - POP-UP BLOCKERS MAY NEED TO BE RESET!!!
Option One:
Payment may be made at the time of e-filing by clicking on the Pay Now button in the pop-up window that will appear upon completion of e-filing.
Click Pay Now.
Verify the Enter Payment Information screen for your pre-filled name and address, which was retrieved from your ECF login.
Select Card Type.
Enter Card Number.
Select Expiration Date.
Click "I authorized charge" box in the Payment Summary and Authorization screen.
You may enter an email address if you would like a receipt emailed to you directly from the credit card processor - entering this information is optional. This email would be in addition to the electronic notification from ECF when your receipt is docketed.
Click Make Payment.
Important Note: Pressing this button more than once could result in multiple transactions.
Option Two:
Payment may be made at the end of the day after e-filing several pleadings.
Select Utilities
Select Internet Payments Due
A pop-up window will appear with a summary of current charges
Click Pay Now.
Verify the Enter Payment Information screen for your pre-filled name and address, which was retrieved from your ECF login.
Select Card Type.
Enter Card Number.
Select Expiration Date.
Click "I authorized charge" box in the Payment Summary and Authorization screen.
